The Longines Royal International Horse Show is held at Hickstead. It is one of the biggest outdoor shows in the country and is also the British public's only chance to see their national showjumping team compete on home ground. This infamous event has been around for 106 years making it one of the oldest horse shows in the world. This year was better than ever thanks to Suregrow fertiliser the main ring grass was in prime condition.
Suregrow's Olympic bronze medalist Caroline Powell, did us proud winning 4th place in The Amlin Plus Eventing Grand Prix on Lenamore! It seems even in retirement Lenamore is not one to laze around. At twenty years of age he was tackling challenges even a younger horse couldn't like the notorious Devil's Dyke.
