Trevor Breen triumphs at Hickstead.....again!

Irish rider Trevor Breen triumphed at the Hickstead Derby for the second year running this time riding Loughnatousa WB. Trevor was 7th out of 37 competitors to go in the field and was the only one to put in a clear round.

Trevor made history last year being the first rider to win Hickstead on a one-eyed horse, Adventure De Kannan. Unfortunately this year Karen Swann's gelding had 2 rails down to finish in 7th place

It was also an exceptional achievement for Loughnatousa WB who is now the only horse to have won the Derby twice with different riders. The 16 year old gelding by Spring Elegance VII claimed the trophy in 2012 with previous rider Paul Beecher.
